Services

Annual Firefighter Medical Evaluation

A 2-hour comprehensive physical examination with special attention to the health risks that are increased among firefighters. Includes cancer screening and proactive evaluation of heart disease risk factors with lab work, thorough physical exam, and discussion of lifestyle factors that influence health risks including sleep, nutrition, and physical activity. Referrals to outside medical facilities are made as needed.

Physical Therapy

PT Consultations are 60-90 minutes and consist of either:

The Injury Prevention Screen: Used if a firefighter is not currently experiencing any musculoskeletal pain issues but helps to identify areas at potential risk for injury. A follow-up session is sometimes recommended to address identified issues.

PT Consultation for Musculoskeletal Pain: Appropriate when a firefighter has a musculoskeletal pain issue that does not prevent them from working but is impacting their quality of life. During the session, you will be provided with advice regarding exercises and activities to address your problem areas.

Mental Health

Stress and mental fatigue are part of the job, but at the Station 2 Clinic, mental health and well-being receive the attention they deserve. If you’re dealing with PTSD, depression, substance abuse, anxiety, relationship issues, or simply need someone to talk to, our Mental Health providers offer in person and virtual therapy sessions, can refer you to vetted first responder resources, get you engaged in a group, or find other ways to ensure you get the relief and support you need.  Call us today to get more information, schedule a meet & greet, or set up an appointment.
